Laurie Benson is a 2015 Golden Heart® finalist and award-winning Regency romance author. She began her writing career as an advertising copywriter, where she learned more than you could ever want to know about hot dogs and credit score reports.
Her interest in history began when she was in elementary school, and that interest was fueled by many visits to many museums. Early 19th century American and British history intrigue her and serve as an inspiration for her stories.
When she isn’t at her laptop avoiding laundry, Laurie can be found browsing around antique shops, going on ridiculously long hikes, and waiting in her car on the school pickup line. She lives with her husband and two sons in a house filled with testosterone—even her bunny is a boy.
